Langkawi, 21 February 2023 – The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) has held a Transfer of Technology (TOT) Programme which is a Basic Course on Printing Shirts Series 3 located at the Design Space, LADA Complex. This programme is divided into two sessions (morning and afternoon) and involves 35 participants from government agencies and departments as well as the local community using the Flexible Silkscreen Printing Table (Flexsilk).<\/p>\n

The objective of this TOT programme is to provide guidance and training so that the Langkawi community can use the machines provided in the Design Space and be able to share these skills with friends and the Langkawi community. In addition, it can promote the use of the Design Space as a place to carry out innovation activities and others.<\/p>\n

Through this course, the participants were given exposure related to the introduction of basic requirements and printing materials, practical making of printing blocks, the process of creating pictures on printing blocks and then learning how to print shirts.<\/p>\n

The Design Space is one of the programmes to cultivate Science, Technology, Innovation and Economy through a community space that can produce a knowledgeable, skilled, creative and innovative society.<\/p>\n
