LADA has received a total of 22 tourism operators from Satun to participate in this B2B Session. For this B2B purpose as well, LADA has invited 58 tourism operators on Langkawi Island consisting of 28 travel agents, 20 hotel parties and 10 tourism products to participate in this session.<\/p>\n

This B2B session aims to strengthen the network of cooperation between tourism operators in Langkawi and Satun. This cooperation network needs to be strengthened since Thailand is the closest neighbor to Langkawi Island and also shares the Andaman waters. Therefore, Langkawi can take this opportunity to strengthen the network with Thailand to market both destinations as Twin-Cities.<\/p>\n

Also at this B2B Session, a press conference was held for the launch of the Satun-Langkawi Fishing Thru Andaman 2023 event. This event will take place from 16 to 19 March 2023 at Pakbara Jetty, La Ngu, Thailand. This event will also involve more than 70 participants from Langkawi. Therefore, a programme like this will indirectly strengthen the cooperation between the two parties.<\/p>\n

In addition, LADA also held a FAM Trip for Satun travel agents starting from 2 to 3 March 2023. This programme aims to promote Langkawi as an international tourism destination to the tourism industry players in Thailand. This programme is also a part of LADA’s initiative to promote Langkawi to tourism industry players and corporate companies around Thailand as an attractive tourist destination especially for the MICE segment.<\/p>\n<\/div>
