The ‘gotong-royong’ programme, which aims to liven up the area around the Chenang route by painting the hoarding board on LADA-owned land in front of the Park Royal Hotel, was held on 16 March 2023, in conjunction with LADA’s 33rd Anniversary Celebration.<\/p>\n

This programme involved 40 participants consisting of LADA staff, the Langkawi Artist Visual Art Association (LAVAA), and school students.<\/p>\n

LADA staff painted the white base paint on the hoarding board, which will be followed by the LAVAA team and school students painting the mural, a place that will be the focal point for tourists to take “instagrammable” photos on the Chenang route.<\/p>\n

With this mural painting, it is hoped to brighten up the Chenang area as well as dignify tourism on Langkawi Island.<\/p>\n<\/div>
