Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had conducted an engagement session with the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah\/Perlis Chapter to discuss the strategic plan in promoting Langkawi\u2019s impacted tourism industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this programme, MAH had highlighted on the problems and issues faced especially in terms of the significant decline in number of guests at hotels registered with MAH. <\/p>\n

A few mechanisms were discussed and improved to help revive the tourism industry in Langkawi. This programme is a part of measures taken by LADA to extend its collaboration with various parties particularly tourism industry players in Langkawi to tackle several issues related to the industry itself. <\/p>\n

MAH was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Eugene Dass and seven MAH Kedah\/Perlis Committee Members, while LADA was represented by Dr. Hezri Bin Adnan, Chief Executive Officer as well as three officers from Tourism Division.<\/p>\n<\/div>
