Langkawi Asyura<\/em> Carnival was held on 19th<\/sup> September 2019 (Thursday) at Langkawi Sports Complex. The programme was well-received by the local community as the organiser had received an overwhelming number of 80 participations from groups of community organisations, mosque and surau branches, schools, colleges, societies, government and private departments, as well as hotels and motels.<\/p>\n

This programme was divided into two sessions with the total participation of 400 people.\u00a0 It also offered interesting prizes to winners according to categories. The prize giving ceremony was solemnized by LADA Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n

On the same date, another event, Forum Perdana Hal Ehwal Islam<\/em> (Islamic Affairs Premier Forum) was also held in the Badminton Hall of Langkawi Sports Complex. The educational forum presented three distinguished Islamic preachers namely YBhg. Dato\u2019 Dr. Haji Mohd Izhar Bin Mohd Kasim, YBhg. Dr. Sheikh Hazizan Bin Mat Isa, and YBhg. Ustaz Mohammad Asyraf.<\/p>\n

The Forum Perdana<\/em> was also brightened with the presence of YBhg. Ustaz Nabil Bin Ahmad as the forum moderator discussing on the topic Citra Anak Malaysia<\/em> (Image of Malaysian Youth) and Dunia Hanya Pinjaman<\/em> (The World is Merely Borrowed).<\/p>\n<\/div>
