Deepavali is celebrated on the Hindu mount of Kartik in October/ Novermber. It is aslso called the Festival of Lights, a day of festival joy when Malaysians visit their friends of Hindu faith to extend good wished and to partake in the feasting and jollity.

Acara ini berkonsepkan endurance iaitu perlumbaan karting selama enam jam tanpa henti.

Acara larian secara maya ini mempertandingkan dua kategori jarak iaitu 5km dan 10km. Dua edisi terdahulu telah berlangsung dengan jayanya di Pulau Langkawi. Namun, atas faktor penularan pandemik COVID-19, edisi kali ini dilangsungkan secara maya.

Kejohanan ini melibatkan penyertaan pasukan-pasukan kebangsaan, negeri dan daerah. Dua kategori yang dipertandingkan ialah Cup Division dan Plate Division.
