Langkawi, 29th December 2021 – Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had presented business support to Alazat Resources in the form of a semiautomatic blower machine purchase for the company. The machine was personally delivered by YBrs. Tuan Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Planning & Development) of LADA as part of the New Economic Project opening initiatives outlined under Langkawi Economy Roadmap Plan (HELANG) to help those affected with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alazat Resources Company is a manufacturer of food products such as muruku (savoury and crunchy Indian fried snack) and kerepek (Malaysian fried crisps or chips) as well as a wholesaler of Langkawi anchovies. Their products are available in all 17 Chois convenience stores and Mahsuri Product Store at Haji Ismail Group Complex in Langkawi. Puan Surina binti Pison, the owner of this food manufacturing and wholesale company was once a travel and tour agent. Aside from currently being active in operating her business, she also provides motivational sessions and guidance for Langkawi entrepreneurs through conducting classes on marketing, packaging, and labelling techniques.
It is thus hoped that the machine contribution would help Alazat Resources Company to increase their manufacturing productivity, accordingly expanding their business into a larger market.
