Langkawi, 16th March 2022 – Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had handed over approval letters for community small project applications worth RM 193,718.75 to eight community groups. The projects will involve repairing and expansion of suraus (Islamic assembly buildings) and mosques, construction of room for handling janazah, repairing of community hall, construction of storeroom for fishermen’s jetty, and donation of air conditioner and tables for school.
These approval letters were handed over by YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA. May the implementation of these community small projects benefit the people particularly in improving their well-being, therefore creating a society on this island that lives in harmony.
