Earth Hour engages millions of people in more than 190 countries and territories, switching off their lights to show support for our planet, raising awareness of nature loss and climate change. Langkawi Earth Hour goes far beyond the symbolic action of switching off by organizing night fun ride in Kuah town.

Yearly celebration for Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. Many conservation activities will be held. Come and celebrate Langkawi's history and the global success of Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark with us!

Lots of rarely-before- seen field activities await participants to experience the uniqueness of life of the paddy field community, throughout the 3-day event. Some of the activities in store are field futsal, field netball, fish catching, football, exhibitions and other family activities.

Langkawi Geopark Enduro Challenge is the 2nd round leg of the Mountainbiker Enduro Championship (MEC) 2022. The 1st round is Bukit 300 Enduro Challenge, held at Teluk Batik, Perak. The 3rd round will be the Mersing Enduro Challenge (September) and final round will be the Daru1Aman Hills Enduro Challenge in December.

The International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, aims to raise awareness of the importance of mangrove ecosystem as “a unique, special and vulnerable ecosystem” and to promote solutions for their sustainable management, conservation and uses.

This forum aims to provide an opportunity for the local community to engage with the relevant stakeholders in the development of Langkawi UGGp. It also involves the community in the planning, strategies and direction of future building development.
