Langkawi, 6th February 2022 – Several representatives from Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had went on-site to meet up with nine local community members through Chinese New Year 2022 Community Support Programme. This first session involved local community in neighbourhoods of Taman Medan Berjaya, Taman Langkawi, Taman Vokasional, and Taman Indah.
The delivered contributions include daily necessities and cash which were presented by YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA. Also joining the contribution delivery mission were YBrs. Tuan Haji Ahmad Fuad bin Abd Ghani, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) and officers from LADA.
This programme focused on recipients of monthly support by Langkawi District Social Welfare Office comprising recipients from the scheme categories of Public Assistance, Financial Assistance for Older Persons, Financial Assistance for Children, Incentive Allowance for Disabled Workers, and Financial Assistance for Carers of Bed-ridden Disabled and Chronically Ill.
May this contribution help relieve the burden of recipients in preparing for the Chinese New Year 2022 celebration.
