Runkawi offer 5km, 10km, & 21km distances on September 2020. The Runkawi Half Marathon Night Run 2020 will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this night running events to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

Langkawi, Malaysia was awarded to be the hots of the 8th World Carrom Championship, 2020 by The International Carrom Federation. Previously it was held in Cannes, France (2008), Mumbai, India (2012), in Birmingham, England in this 8th edition of the prestigious world championship.
The netball tournament is the first ever tournament to be held on this island. Teams will be competing for the coveted Telaga Walk Open Netball Cup.
