Langkawi, 18th November 2021 – A training course on preparation of budget cake and viral bread organised by LADA in collaboration with Langkawi District KEMAS Office was successfully held on 16th and 17th November 2021 at Langkawi District KEMAS Cooking Centre.
In total, the course involved 30 participants selected among individuals and entrepreneurs in Langkawi who have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 14 participants were chosen for Budget Cake Preparation Training Course whereas the remaining 16 participants were involved with Viral Bread Preparation Training Course.
This training was conducted to provide exposure for the targeted group and assist them in upgrading their skills, thereby helping them in generating income to sustain daily needs and face the current challenging situation. At the end of the training course, all participants succeeded in producing budget cakes and viral bread that could serve as great examples to be commercialised.
The training course was officiated by YBrs. Tuan Rohaizad bin Rashid, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management). Also present were Puan Nordiana binti Nordin, Manager of LADA Corporate Services Unit (UKK), Puan Dayang Siti Naquiah binti Awang Mohammad, Langkawi KEMAS Officer, and Encik Mohd Shukri bin Ishak, Assistant Administrative Officer of LADA UKK.
May this initiative become a huge encouragement for future entrepreneurs to continue catering to the demands of Langkawi residents as well as tourists with full enthusiasm. Congratulations to all participants of this training course.
