LADA and its subsidiary, Panorama Langkawi Sdn. Bhd. (PLSB) have collaborated for a vegetable farming project to aid the local community affected with the COVID-19 pandemic that is still violently spreading throughout the nation and world.
This initiative is part of the Langkawi Economy Roadmap Plan (HELANG), aiming to encourage Langkawi community to participate in a new economic sector that is agriculture.
The crops planted at LADA-PLSB Farm, LISRAM are pesticide-free and semi-organic. Some examples of vegetable planted by the participants include mustard greens, water spinach, spinach, and okras.
