Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) together with Panorama Langkawi Sdn Bhd, Jupeter Holidays Sdn Bhd, and Anytimes Holidays Sdn Bhd participated in the MATTA Fair Kedah at Central Square Sungai Petani, which was the first-ever event held in Kedah. The programme was inaugurated by YB. Tuan Mohd Firdaus bin Ahmad, Kedah State Tourism Exco.
Participation in this promotional programme is an initiative by LADA to attract domestic tourists, especially from the northern region, to Langkawi. Throughout the three-day promotional programme, the Langkawi booths recorded sales of RM32,059.50.
This programme was attended by 35 exhibitors, consisting of government agencies and tourism agencies.
