13th July 2023 – The Psychology Management Unit, Human Resource Management Section, Remuneration Policy and Management Division, Ministry of Finance Malaysia, organised the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme by Public Service Counselling Associates (AKRAB), Ministry of Finance Malaysia, held at Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih, Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
LADA was also invited as the Chief Facilitator for the Low Middle Target Group for this session. AKRAB LADA was represented by Ts. Muhammad Fakharie bin Dato Hj Che Pee, Chairman of AKRAB LADA, and Mr. Ikhwan bin Mohd Said, Competency and Programme Bureau Committee Member, AKRAB MOF.
Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih accommodates students who come from less satisfactory family backgrounds in terms of income, family issues, and psychological challenges. The current number of students is 133, comprising various age groups ranging from pre-school to upper secondary. This school is also financially supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, which provides funds to build a more comfortable and conducive school and hostel environment.
LADA, together with several facilitators from AKRAB Treasury and Religion Bureau MOF, conducted a session with students called Art Therapy: HTP (Home Tree People). The response received from all attending students was very encouraging. As part of the programme, a lecture was also held and delivered by guest speaker Ustazah Isfadiah Ahmad Dasuki.
Finally, LADA will continue to contribute to every programme organised by the Ministry of Finance as a sign of full support for noble efforts like this.
