August 23, 2024 – Today, the Langkawi Geopark Discovery Centre played host to an exciting visit by 34 members of PUSPANITA MOSTI, who traveled from afar to explore the wonders of Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark.
The group was whisked away on a captivating adventure, traveling back 550 million years to uncover the ancient history of the island and its legendary tales, including the iconic story of Mahsuri.
As they toured the GDC, participants were treated to fascinating insights about Langkawi’s status as Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark, with each moment bringing the island’s rich geological heritage to life.
