Langkawi, 4th May 2021 – Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) in collaboration with Langkawi Port Sdn. Bhd. had organised Jelajah Ramadhan 2021 Programme (3rd Leg) at Masjid Al-Qadim, Kuah.
The programme aimed at supporting and sharing alms with asnaf (aid recipients) around Langkawi. A total of 30 families had been identified by the Mosque Committee to each receive contributions of RM 50.00 cash and daily necessities worth RM 50.00. Delivering the donation was Tuan Hj. Mohamad Nasir bin Abd. Aziz, Langkawi Port Sdn. Bhd. General Manager.
Besides that, LADA also sponsored RM 4,000.00 allocation for the mosque in preparing for iftar (breaking fast) and moreh (feast after tarawih prayer) food packs to be delivered to the parish. This donation given by meeting the community on-site is therefore hoped to be able to strengthen the bond between LADA, its subsidiaries, and the locals.
