Langkawi, 26th December 2021 – Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) had conducted a benchmarking visit to Langkawi Development Authority (LADA). The delegation was led by YBrs. TPr. Noraini binti Roslan, Mayor of Subang Jaya and participated by 12 management representatives and staff of the city council. The visit was held to obtain information on best practices implemented by LADA as the coordinating agency for Langkawi’s development, especially in transforming it into one of the best tourism destinations in Malaysia. The discussion held between both parties had also contributed ideas to MBSJ delegation in planning for new tourism product development in Subang Jaya city.
May the relationship fostered between LADA and MBSJ through such visit could be maintained for both parties to continuously exchange different ideas that will certainly contribute towards Malaysia’s tourism sector development.
