On 24th March 2020, Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity with Sultanah Malihah Hospital, Langkawi. This programme was a method taken by LADA in providing help for the hospital to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic which has badly stricken the country. The contribution was delivered by Cik Nordiana Nordin, Manager of Corporate Services Unit on behalf of LADA Chief Executive Officer, accompanied by two officers namely En. Norazman Yusuf and En. Mohd Irfan Sani. The contribution was warmly accepted by Dr. Mansor Ismail, Director of Hospital Sultanah Maliha as well as the hospital personnel. LADA Management hopes that the contribution of lunch meals to hospital personnel for two days starting from today until tomorrow will at least help relieve the burdens and pressures faced by the frontliners, therefore giving them strength to contain the spread of this pandemic. LADA greatly appreciates all personnel working at the front line in this fight to safeguard the community’s freedom and safety from COVID-19 catastrophe. May Allah SWT ease everything for Malaysia and return the tranquillity and safety of the country as best as they could be.
