DELIVERY OF BUSINESS SUPPORT(PEB, HELANG) TO DANGAU LANGKAWI ENTERPRISEBASIC BARISTA COURSE FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE LANGKAWI ENTREPRENEURS, COLLABORATION OF LADA AND LANGKAWI TOURISM ACADEMY (LTA)

Langkawi, 19 February 2023 – The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) in collaboration with the Langkawi Tourism Academy @ Kolej Komuniti has organised a Basic Barista Course that was held for 4 days starting from 16-19 February 2023. A total of 10 participants have taken the opportunity to attend this course which is held at the Langkawi Tourism Academy @ Kolej Komuniti Langkawi, Jalan Pantai Chenang, Mukim Kedawang.

Through this course, the participants were given exposure to the basic barista module, which is to know the coffee machine equipment as well as Espresso and milk steaming techniques conducted by En. Jeffri and Pn. Farah Adilah. Next, the participants also learned the techniques for preparing Cappucino, Latte, Mocha, Macchiato & Affogato with En. Jeffri and Pn. Zairina.

In addition, this course includes learning the Canva for Social Media and Mobile Photography/Videography modules with Pn. Norhanani bin Harun and the last module which is the Food Handling Course by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Hopefully, the knowledge gained will be applied and fully utilised by established and potential Langkawi entrepreneurs in their respective businesses in the future.
