August 14, 2024 – LADA’s Legal Unit organized an insightful engagement session and discussion with various enforcement, legal, and judicial agencies at Oriental Village, Langkawi.
The event brought together key officials from the Legal Unit of LADA, including representatives from the Magistrate Court and Syariah Court of Langkawi, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Majlis Perbandaran Langkawi Bandaraya Pelancongan (MPLBP), Polis Langkawi, Pejabat Daerah Dan Tanah Langkawi (PDTL), and Jabatan Bantuan Guaman Langkawi (JBG).
This session aimed to foster strategic networking and collaboration between LADA’s Legal Unit and local agencies, focusing on enforcement and legal matters. It was an opportunity to share information on governance and current issues affecting Langkawi, aligning with LADA’s role as a leading agency on the island under Section 4 of Act 423 LADA.
The engagement also provided a platform for exchanging views on pressing issues in Langkawi and included a tour of the latest tourism attractions around Sky Cab Langkawi.
The goal is to strengthen and sustain this collaborative network for the continued prosperity and well-being of Langkawi.
