Langkawi, 29th April 2021 – Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) in collaboration with Langsura Geopark Sdn. Bhd. had organised Jelajah Ramadhan 2021 (2nd Leg) at Masjid Raudhatul Khudra’, Pasir Hitam.
The programme aimed at supporting and sharing alms with asnaf (aid recipients) around Langkawi. A total of 30 families had been identified by the Mosque Committee to each receive contributions of RM 100.00 cash and daily necessities worth RM 50.00. Delivering the donation was Tuan Haji Rohaizad bin Rashid, LADA Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) and Encik Ahmad Adam bin Ahmad Fuaad, Langsura Geopark Sdn. Bhd. General Manager. Also attending was YB Tuan Haji Juhari Bulat, Ayer Hangat State Legislative Assembly Representative (ADUN) cum State Legislative Assembly Speaker.
Besides that, LADA also delivered RM 4,000.00 allocation for iftar (breaking fast) programme organising at this mosque. This donation given by meeting the community on-site is therefore hoped to be able to strengthen the bond between LADA, its subsidiaries, and the locals.
LADA will continue to diversify initiatives in helping Langkawi community’s socioeconomic state through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community development programmes for the locals’ well-being.
