Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) has conducted a meet-on-the-ground session today in effort to support the community and tourism industry players of Langkawi whose daily income sources have been severely affected by COVID-19 pandemic. This time, 100 recipients were each given the contribution of LADA CSR Bakul Prihatin (Basket of Care) with collaboration from Langkawi Tourist Guide Association (LTGA) and Islamic Welfare Association Malaysia (PERKIM) Langkawi Branch. The contribution delivery session was held upon permission by the local authority in compliance with the implemented SOPs. May this small contribution help boost the spirit of the community and tourism industry players of Langkawi to persevere, especially during the latest currently imposed MCO period.
