The LADA ICT Disaster Recovery Plan Course and disaster simulation briefing were held at Hotel Bayview, Langkawi, to provide information and awareness to the owners and users of critical systems at LADA.
The primary objectives of this course were to ensure an effective response to unforeseen incidents and to manage and respond to disasters in an orderly and systematic manner. This includes detailing immediate steps to be taken, assigning roles and responsibilities to each involved party, and establishing effective communication procedures.
Following this, an ICT disaster simulation session was conducted, during which all critical LADA systems were shut down to allow for a full disaster recovery test. During this period, ICT services operated using the Disaster Recovery Center to ensure service continuity.
