August 27, 2024 – The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) held its August 2024 Monthly Assembly with the theme “Merdeka Jiwa, Merdeka Bangsa” at the LADA Complex Auditorium. This assembly aimed to celebrate the 67th Independence Day on August 31, 2024, and Malaysia Day on September 16, 2024. Highlights of the event included a special Merdeka video presentation, patriotic song performances, and a special lecture titled “Merdeka from an Islamic Perspective” delivered by YBhg. Dato’ Ustaz Kazim Elias Al-Hafiz. Additionally, the assembly celebrated the outstanding achievements of the LADA contingent in the Ministry of Finance Malaysia Sports Festival (PSKK) 2024. May this program foster a patriotic spirit and strengthen teamwork among LADA staff.
