26 June 2023 – The Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark Advisory Council Meeting No. 1/2023 was chaired by the Chief Minister of Kedah, YAB Dato Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi bin Md Nor.
Among the meeting agenda items were the presentation of new geopark products: Tuba Geotourism, as well as the framework of the Langkawi Geopark Master Plan 2023–2027. The meeting also shared preparations for Langkawi’s fourth revalidation assessment, scheduled from 30 June to 4 July 2023.
