The UNESCO Global Geopark assessors, Prof. Dr. Yuanyuan Zheng, Director of the Chinese Geoparks Network, China, and Dr. Yongmun Jeon, Geologist from Jeju UNESCO Global Geopark, Korea, visited the Geopark Gallery at the LADA Complex on 4 July 2023. Dr. Azmil Munif, Manager of the Tourism Division at LADA, provided an explanation regarding the Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, while Prof. Dr. Che Aziz Ali presented an explanation regarding the rocks in Langkawi to the assessors.
