Langkawi, 14th October 2021 – A total of 25 officers from Perak state government and federal agencies including Manjung District and Land Office, Tourism Perak, Pangkor Duty-Free Island (PBC) Secretariat, Manjung Municipal Council (MPM), Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Perak (MOTAC) as well as YB EXCO of Housing, Local Government, and Tourism Office had conducted a work visit to Langkawi Development Authority (LADA). The visit was also joined by officers from Kedah State Economic Planning Unit (BPEN) and Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA).
A briefing on the implementation of Langkawi’s travel bubble as well as tourism sector performance had been delivered by YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA.
May this working visit benefit all parties involved. LADA also hopes Pangkor Island’s tourism sector would develop prosperously in line with Perak State Government’s intention.
