Langkawi, 30th October 2021 – Langkawi Tourism Association (LTA) in collaboration with Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) had organised Langkawi Cup Golf Tournament 2021 at The Els Club Teluk Datai, Langkawi. The launching ceremony was held at night and officiated by YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA.
A total of 90 participants from all over Malaysia had taken part in this fourth edition of Langkawi Cup Golf Tournament. The tournament is the first-ever sports event held in Langkawi after the reopening of this legendary island on 16th September 2021 and was also organised in compliance with the SOPs enforced by
Malaysian National Security Council (MKN) and Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS). It is therefore hoped that the success of this golf tournament event will help pave way for the organising of other sports events in Langkawi with adaptation to the culture of ‘new normal’.
