Program Lonjakan Saujana Pendidikan Langkawi (Langkawi Educational Programme) was successfully held on 18th and 19th of October 2022 at the Langkawi Vocational College Hall. The result of the collaboration between Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) and Langkawi District Education Office (PPD) Langkawi has attracted the participation of 370 high school students from all over Langkawi.
This workshop-style programme was designed specifically for students taking the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exam, focusing on History and Malay Language.
Intensive workshops in these two subjects are part of the preparation for students to take the SPM exam. The main objective of this programme is to increase the passing percentage of students and achieve a high Subject Average Grade (GPMP) for schools in the Langkawi district.
This is simply to put schools in Langkawi district on par with other districts in Kedah.
The closing ceremony was completed by YBrs. Tuan Ahmad Fuad Bin Che Ani@Abdul Ghani, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of LADA (Management), who awarded certificates to the participants. Also present were representatives of the Langkawi District Education Officer, the Chairman of the Langkawi Malaysian Principal Council (MPSM) and the Chairman of Parents, Community and Private Sector’s Involvement (PIBKS).
