On 6th June 2023, His Royal Highness Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman, graciously consented to an audience with Mr. Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin, Acting Chief Executive Officer of LADA, together with Mr. Ahmad Fuad bin Che Ani@Abd Ghani, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management), and Dr. Azmil Munif bin Mohd Bukhari, Manager of LUGGp, at Istana Darul Aman, Jalan Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur. The audience was held to present the current tourism status of Langkawi Island and Langkawi Geopark. The audience was also attended by Dato’ Paduka Haji Bakar Bin Din (Dato’ Pengelola Bijaya DiRaja) and YB Dato’ Haji Norizan Bin Khazali, the Secretary of the State Government of Kedah Darul Aman.
