The ceremony gloriously took place on 24th June 2020 in Dewan Besar LADA (LADA Grand Hall). With Batik theme, the whole event was humbly yet joyously celebrated with proper observance of government SOPs during the ongoing RMCO. This year, 28 LADA officers and staff were each presented with the Excellent Service Award (APC). This celebration was also enlivened with ceremony launching by YBhg. Dr. Hezri Adnan, LADA Chief Executive Officer.
As mentioned, compliance of government SOPs was strictly observed throughout the ceremony, which included social distancing and wearing of face masks to cover each attendee’s nose and mouth following the instruction given by LADA’s Top Management.
Looking back on the foundation of APC implementation for public servants, the award started in conjunction with the Service Circular Number 13 of 2012 – Conferment of Excellent Service Medal and Presentation of Excellent Service Award. APC serves as government’s appreciation towards public service officers who have given excellent service as well as an acknowledgment of top-notch service based on an officer’s yearly performance. Referring on the circular, officers qualified to be considered for the award presentation include all public service officers of permanent, temporary, or contract appointment and have served for at least exactly one year on the last day of assessment year.
LADA wishes to extend its appreciation and to congratulate the organising team, En. Norshuhaidy Shabudin, Manager of Human Resource and Management Services Division, as well as the committee members of APC 2019 Ceremony who had worked hard to ensure the success of the event.
