The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) has received a visit from the Selangor Gombak-Hulu Langat National Geopark. A total of 120 delegates were present, led by Yang Berhormat Tuan Hee Loy Sian, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Orang Asli Affairs.
Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark has been selected as the Gombak Geopark reference destination for 3 days from 15-17 February 2023. Various exchanges of ideas, experiences and best practices have been shared which include Geology, Cultural, Heritage, Community segments and strategies to promote Geotourism.
