Langkawi, 12 April 2023 – ‘Jelajah Ramadan’ (Ramadan Tour) Programme Series 3/2023 was held at the Masjid Al Falah, Kg. Padang Kandang, Mukim Padang Matsirat. This programme is a collaborative effort between LADA, Langsura Geopark Sdn Bhd, RTM and Puspanita LADA. A total of 33 ‘asnaf’ (aid recipients) have received donations in conjunction with this year’s Ramadan Kareem celebration.
The session of handing over donations to the ‘asnaf’ group was completed by YBrs. Tuan Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Planning and Development) of LADA together with YBrs. En. Fathi Ahmad Shah, General Manager of LGSB and Pn. Shamsina binti Sudin, Deputy Broadcasting Director of RTM Langkawi.
This mosque is the last location for the organisation of the ‘Jelajah Ramadhan’ Programme 2023. Thank you to those involved directly or indirectly throughout the implementation of this programme. Hopefully this donation can ease the burden of the families involved in conjunction with the months of Ramadhan and Syawal which will be coming soon.
In this blessed month, there was also a Handover Session for the Small Community Project Approval Letter Phase 1/2023 for 4 projects around Langkawi with an allocation amounting to RM36,200. This project includes community, educational and religious facilities.
