Langkawi, 8th October 2021 – Kedah State Secretary, YB Dato’ Paduka Ammar bin Dato’ Shaikh Mahmood Naim had conducted a working visit to Pulau Tuba today. The visit aimed to monitor repairing and upgrading works at Teluk Bujur Jetty currently being implemented by LADA on the island. The project is expected to complete by March 2023 and is deemed necessary to ensure the jetty maintains its good and safe condition to be used by tourists and locals.
Also present during the visit were Kedah State EXCO of Public Works, Water Supply, and Water & Energy Resources, YB Dato’ Suraya binti Yaacob, Langkawi District Officer, YBrs. Tuan Haji Saiful Anwar bin Azmi, Langkawi Municipal Council Tourism City (MPLBP) YDP, YBrs. Tuan Radzuan bin Osman, and Chief Executive Officer of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib.
