Langkawi, 25th April 2022 – Langkawi Development Authority had organised Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in LADA Main Hall to commemorate the end of its Ramadhan 1443H Tadarus Al-Quran Programme.
The ceremony began with ‘du’a’ (supplication) recitation by Encik Mohd Shukri bin Ishak from Corporate Services Unit (UKK). It was then continued with Al-Quran recitation by all ‘tadarus’ participants led by YBhg. Ustaz Azhar bin Abdul Manan who is also the instructor of the Al-Quran recitation programme. Later, he also led the khatam Al-Quran ‘du’a’ recitation as the ceremony drew to an end.
In glorifying Ramadhan 1443H, Puspanita LADA had once again organised the Tadarus Al-Quran Programme in collaboration with LADA Sports and Welfare Club (KSKL). The programme had been successfully held for the fifth time with the participation of 82 LADA staff and officers from 5th to 21st April 2022.
Also present to officiate the ceremony was YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA. In his speech, the CEO encouraged all LADA staff to participate in such programme which will also be held again next year in Ramadhan. According to him, this programme is a great platform that provides opportunities for each LADA staff to not just multiply their ibadah during this holy month, but also to improve their Al-Quran recitation and mastery of ‘tajweed’ (the knowledge of rules for pronouncing the Arabic language when reciting Al-Qur’an).
LADA therefore would like to convey our deepest gratitude and appreciation to YBhg. Ustaz Azhar and all the organisers for their hard work in ensuring that this programme could be run smoothly. Congratulations to all the participants. May this programme be held again in the future, with more LADA staff and officers participating.
