Langkawi, 28th July 2023 – About the Langkawi Dialysis Family Day Programme 2023 organised by the Langkawi Kidney Patients Welfare Association (KKPBPPL).
Various interesting activities were held to strengthen the relationship among the Langkawi kidney patients’ community, the families of kidney patients and related government bodies.
Mr. Mohammad Shauqi bin Md Rezali, Assistant Manager, Corporate Service Unit of LADA, attended to represent the top management and handed over the letter of contribution received by the Chairman of KKPBPPL, Mr. Haji Saad bin Salleh.
Also present at the programme were the Patron of KKPBPPL, Dato’ Hj Mohd Rawi bin Abd Hamid and the Director of Sultanah Maliha Hospital, Dr. Akmal Naziah binti Dato Haji Ahmad.
KKPBPPL is a newly established NGO that advocates for the welfare of kidney patients in Langkawi, currently totaling 105 individuals who require dialysis treatment at the Hemodialysis Unit of Sultanah Maliha Hospital.
