Langkawi, 24th April 2022 – Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) handed over business support to Langkawi’s first retort service centre, Makk Minah Enterprise through the purchase of stainless steel retort baskets. The handover was carried out at Kampung Belanga Pecah, Ayer Hangat by LADA’s Chief Executive Officer, YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Planning and Development) YBrs. Tuan Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin.
The owner of this company, Puan Nur Hafilah binti Abdul Talib does not only provide retort assistance but also research and development (R&D) service for Langkawi entrepreneurs to help them in identifying products that are suitable with retort technology. This technology is beneficial for food and beverage entrepreneurs in Langkawi to expand the marketing of their products as it could help in making food last longer and taste better without the use of preservatives.
