11 May 2023 – LADA has organised the Majlis Aidilfitri Langkawi Best Wey! 2023 (Raya Open House Ceremony). The organisation of this event is one of the initiatives to build a harmonious relationship with all parties and further reinvigorate the recovery of the tourism industry in Langkawi. LADA has received the visit of all stakeholders to celebrate Majlis Aidilfitri Langkawi Best Wey! 2023 at LADA Complex. More than 30 menus were served to the visitors throughout the event.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Planning and Development Sector) of LADA, Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin also explained that this ceremony was attended by almost 3,000 invited guests, consisting of government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), hotels, private parties, the local community and Langkawi tourists.
