Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) is once again organising a programme that is of great interest to people from all walks of life, namely the coral breeding programme and the cleaning of the beach, including the surrounding area.

The programme which was organised on the 26th of October 2022 has successfully attracted the participation of nearly 100 participants, including students, tourism industry players, government agencies and NGOs. As many as 30 coral racks have been lowered into the waters of the Pulau Pasir which is the site of the underwater sculpture that was unveiled to tourists last July.

Hopefully, this effort will help Langkawi become more well-known not only as a leading resort island but also as a destination for interesting conservation activities.
