Langkawi, 19th May 2022 – Ramah Mesra Aidilfitri Langkawi Geopark 2022 Ceremony organised by LADA Sports and Welfare Club (KSKL) was successfully held today at LADA Complex. The ceremony was also attended by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mohd. Suhaimi bin Haji Abdullah as Co-Chairman of LADA’s Board of Directors.
This ceremony was organised as part of the efforts put forward by LADA to reinvigorate tourism sector in Langkawi. ‘Keluarga LADA’ along with the agency’s subsidiaries and associated company had collaborated in entertaining the invited guests who were also representatives from government agencies, non-governmental organisation (NGO), hotels, and international as well as domestic tourists in Langkawi.
LADA’S Chief Executive Officer, YBrs. Tuan Haji Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib commented that Langkawi had received great response from tourists during the recent holiday for Aidilfitri celebration. In total, 107,417 tourists had chosen this island as their holiday destination particularly between 28th April and 8th May 2022.
At the moment, LADA is active in carrying out promotions at international level by collaborating with Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and Tourism Malaysia.
