On 11th and 12th April 2021, LADA via Investment and Business Facilitation Division had organised a Retort Technology Application Course in LADA Complex Main Hall for 34 entrepreneurs and petty traders in Langkawi. The course was organised as part of the New Economic Project initiatives under Langkawi Economy Roadmap Plan (HELANG) launched on 31st May 2020.
This course was held to improve the participants’ understanding on the basics of processing and packaging technology that can help food and beverage products to last up until two years. Besides that, the participants were also given a close exposure through observing the actual packaging process that can be applied on their products, therefore helping the entrepreneurs and petty traders to generate high quality, safe, and competitive foodstuffs.
